To be ethical means to follow, defending and recommending what it is good for individuals and society, considering how decisions can affect the human behaviour.
Sergio is a drug dealer. The money he gets selling drugs is for supporting his family. He is the eldest brother and his parents died two years ago. His four brothers and sisters are ten, six, four and two years old. He can't get a normal job because he lost his legs in an accident. His friend Pablo invites him to a church meeting and there he understand that he is doing wrong.
Should he stop dealing drugs or he should go on with it to help his brothers and sisters?
Mr. Kruger,
ResponderEliminarWhat a challenging dilemma! I think there are probably many people who face a difficult decision like this one.
This brother is helping his family, but he is not a good role model. Can you think of any way he could resolve this situation to keep everybody happy?
